SET1: RANDOM STRAIGHT LINES ABSTRACT
ABOUT RSL AG PICTURES
Specific to "Random Straight Lines" Abstract Graphics
pictures is the line-element (a form-specific one) which
needs to be straight. Note, however, that those defining straight
lines are not drawn
automatically by a pre-programmed application. No, Sir. What we do
is, we use the digital means available (this is certain picture editor
programs), instead of the classic painting brush, in order to
achieve the results we need: a nice picture, unlike
anything else, that may be displayed on a digital
Of course, the graphic precision when working with an entire
PC program to obtain one RSL AG picture is fairly slim. There is
tons of straining efforts needed to achieve a recognizable valid
AG picture, but then the same thing happens when someone works
manually with the paint brush on canvas—right?
The second artistic element that needs to be controlled, somehow, is
the color composition. The manner to implement a color
controlled assembly in one RSL AG picture is . . . simply
discouraging. We are able to control a few inputs, though the
outputs are almost random. As a result, in addition to author's
efforts, plus to the "job" performed by some automatic routines
(working as "the means" we can use), there is a lot of "chance", and "destiny"
embedded into any particular RSL AG picture. Well, that is exactly
the way art works—true art!
IT takes about 3 days to process one RSL AG picture, though only one in
three attempts leads to a successful result—impressive, isn't it?
all those tremendous efforts are needed to create a new form of art
that is suited for display on the digital screen (in RGB colors).
Naturally, we could also display stunning/extraordinary photos of our very
reality on the digital screen, but they will remain just photos forever.
In contrast, our digital AG pictures come with a unique
artistic shape, plus with a breathtaking color composition,
plus with certain values for brightness, contrast, hue,
and transparency. Above all, the most important element that
pushes our creations right into the artistic domain is their abstract
quality. Note that it takes a certain amount of abstraction (fairly
high) for a simple
graphic picture to cross the boundary into the art side.
THE ADVERTISING VALUE OF RSL
Psychologically, and considering the Commercial Advertising Vector [CAV], Random Straight Lines AG are the ones to strain the client
the least—therefore CAV is strongest! Everybody knows and likes such straight, nicely colored lines, therefore this category of AG is truly an
In terms of usability, note that RSL AG pictures work very well
as supporting backgrounds in any commercial, scientific, or artistic environment. Practically, this
category of AG, together with SMP, are the most used ones. Again, they fit nicely in any kind of environment: commercial, scientific, artistic,
educational, you name it.
On our side, and considering the efforts needed to generate such RSL AG pictures, things are fairly tough. Note that "the seed"
behind one RSL AG could be a group of beautiful young ladies, or a breathtaking landscape. In order to get to those mechanical
straight lines there is a lot of work involved!
CRITERIA OF ORDERING A NEW RSL AG PICTURE
The first thing to remark about Random Straight Lines Abstract Graphics pictures is the fact that they come in two
varieties: on a dark/black background, and on a lighter one. This is a first important detail when you order
a new set of RSL AG pictures.
Secondly, note that we can add a few special effects to almost all RSL AG: a 3D perspective, and/or stars.
Lastly, you should specify the needed dimensions of your RSL in
terms of width and height. The graphic resolution
is commonly set at 600 dpi, though we can increase that. The picture format
is either RGB (for screen display), or CMYK (for commercial printing;
the actual colors are a bit duller), or
both—this last option is a bit more expensive.
PURCHASING AND WORKING WITH
RSL AG PICTURES
In order to purchase an existing AG picture, you need to write to us an email at
firstname.lastname@example.org, or using email@example.com,
firstname.lastname@example.org. Please do not forget to mention the AG code number, and/or it's name. We are going to negotiate the price, because each
AG picture has a different amount of computer-labor embedded. In
addition, the art-value varies from one AG picture to the other.
Anyway, once you purchase your RSL AG picture from us, it becomes your
legal property to use it the way you like it most. Note that a single
RSL AG picture may be further changed/modified to generate tens and even
hundreds of interesting variations (using hue changes, color changes,
brightness and contrast changes, crop and/or scale/zoom, and so on). The
possibilities are limited by your imagination only.
